Because it provides a unique alternative to classic
tourism that just offers leisure and rest.
Additionally through us, people can interact on a
more cultural level by building relationships with
the habitants of this zone. Therefore, we seek
offer something new to the tourist:
to learn the
roots of our
region, its rural way of life in the countryside,
and the manners of huilliches communities. Thus, we
call our offer “alternative tourism”.
ALTERNATIVE TOURISM: It consists of promoting
new areas of interest that are not included in the
traditional tourism industry. Our project entails
three branches of tourism: agro, eco, and ethnic.
Eco-tourism:
An approach to tourism activities that focuses on
sustainability, preservation, and appreciation of
the environment (both natural and cultural) that
welcomes visitors.
Agro-Tourism:
A tourist activity that takes place in a rural area,
usually in small towns (less than 1,000 or 2,000
people) or out of town in larger cities. The
facilities are often old, familiar but mostly
refurbished, offering quality service.
Ethnic-Tourism:
A sustainable form of tourism that values the
worldview of indigenous peoples through
intercultural relations in indigenous territories,
under the planning and active management of its
members this tourism contributes to the economic,
social and cultural development of native cultures.
